The national examination for admission in the medical courses like MBBS and BDS in different government and private colleges in different states of India, commonly known as All India Pre Medical Test is going to be held on 1st of May, 2016. The AIPMT 2016 Examination will provide almost 3,500 vacant seats in medical and dental colleges of India except institutions in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir. AIPMT 2016 will be held in pen & paper mode only at various designated exam centres across India for undergraduate medical and dental seats under 15% All India Quota.
AIPMT Admit Card 2016- Download
The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi conduct the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test, every year. This entrance test is conducted for the 15% merit positions in the Medical/Dental Colleges of India and governed by the rules and regulations specified for the same by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India from time to time.
There are also the State Governments/Universities/Institutions which voluntarily participate in the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test for using its merit list for admission in the Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges against seats under their control.
The responsibility of the CBSE is to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS and participating States/Universities/Institutions.
The counseling for selected candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by the DGHS and the Counselling for admission in seats under the control of other participating States/Universities/Institutions conduct by their respective Authorities.

AIPMT 2016 Admit Card/Hall Ticket
AIPMT Admit Card 2016 will be available on official website http://aipmt.nic.in/ to download from April 1, 2016. To download admit card, the candidates need to enter their form’s registration number and password. The admit card is an important document which will contain candidate’s details like their exam roll number, category, photograph, signature, name and address of the allotted exam centre, etc. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to give the examination. The candidates have to preserve the AIPMT 2016 admit card till the completion of admission processes as it will be required by the candidates at the time of admission and counselling process for identity verification. Candidates are advised to check all the entries in the admit card. In case of any discrepancy, candidate should immediately inform the exam conducting authority.
Exam Day Guideline
Candidates are advised to reach their examination centre before at least 1 hour the commencement of exam. Examination Hall will be opened 45 minutes before the test. Candidates are advised not to carry anything except their pen pouch and not any digital materials to the exam hall otherwise they shall be deemed to have used unfair practices at examination and marked as UNFAIRMEANS (U.F.M.). AIPMT 2016 Cut Off Score
The AIPMT 2016 cut off score will be dependent on difficulty level of examination, availability of seats, number of applicants, etc. Based on the cut-off score, examination authority will prepare the merit list and then the candidates are called for counselling.The CBSE will prepare AIPMT 2016 cut off score based on which candidates will be positioned in merit list as per their marks scored in the examination. The result will be declared on or before June 5, 2016, as per the sources. The cut off marks for qualifying AIPMT 2016 is 50% for general category candidates. Based on the marks scored by candidates, CBSE will prepare merit list of the eligible and successful candidates and will provide them All India Rank. As per the rank in merit list, counselling will be conducted for admission under 15 % AIQ seats excluding Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir.
AIPMT 2016 Counselling
AIPMT Counselling Schedule 2016: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct the AIPMT 2016 counselling process for allotment of MBBS and BDS seats under 15% All India Quota according to the All India Rank secured by the candidates. The online counselling of AIPMT 2016 will be conducted in three rounds beginning tentatively in the month of July or August. The selected candidates will have to carefully fill the counselling form keeping in mind the preferences of colleges.
